What would you build? And if it's other, would you please tell me what "other" is?

Thanks,

Grasshopper style it my favorite. However, I'm going to give the cub/mod a try next build. Will not be as long but s shorter version.

Now you know, everyone here has a personal photo album where they can upload their pictures. But I've also created an album for you if you are interested in using it. It's for your grasshopper!!!

My favorite falls under "other". It is the "Tiny Tears" Boxter of course!

I like the campmaster style because of the walk-in feature, but i LOVE my Camp-Inn that is about to arrive :) If anyone wants to see progress pics, let me know. I've got them in my album.

Hey Buford,

I took advantage of your question to test the search feature again. I searched on the word camp-inn. Up pop 3 matches, and one of the was a link to Jolene's uploaded pictures here! :D

This is encouraging, because in a year when we can't humanly search for all the information we know we've seen, the search will find it for us!

The first time you come to this poll you have the option of selecting your choice. After you have voted, you will only see the results!

Maybe we'll have to start another poll, just for you. Any ideas? How about asking if they want to join the 2nd Teardrop Club?

Or how about, what have I learned since I built my first teardrop! :D

Nah - I'm sure I voted when I first looked at it. I thought there might be an opportunity to change one's vote. While I like the KenSkill galley, I prefer the Kit profile, at least to build. So if I had to build one, I'd build the Kit (which I am, sorta) but if I were to buy one, it'd be the Kenskill.

I also answered other.

Hybrid like my Prius.

I have had many ideas including an electric motor at the axel for tough hills.

I find myself leaning toward a Traditional tear front end ... but as we work toward the back a Jack in the box ...

Half teardrop (front) with the finders and Kamp Master (back) but when it opens out pops the Tvan outside floor, tent, and the kitchen will face backward on a tailgate setup that would swing all the way till it locks against the side of the trailer. An owning would come out from the side to protect the kitchen from the elements and insect screening would attach to the 3 open sides.
One of the reasons I went for a trailer was so I had my own bathroom and shower. which is so far lacking.
Maybe that is where a slide out on the side comes to use.

Mike and how much is that T@b with restroom cost??

Don't know about the T@B with restroom, but considering the Original T@B started at $16,000 it can only go up from there...

As far as shape it's Kenskill, but I like Grant Whipp's 8' variation. As far as overall design though I'm in favor of something larger with the bed elevated to allow storage under.

I posted a message in the non-traditional section about my fantasy 6x6x12' teardrop that sleeps four and has a stand-up shower.

Postby jeffwholmes » Thu Jan 06, 2005 4:19 pm

I have only known about tears for about a week now, watched rv crazy on the tv and started looking around the net for them. They have got my attention and my Wife and I are going to build one, not sure of what design though. She realy likes the Grasshoper and I the Benroy, so not sure witch one we will end up with as we (I) are still in the planning stage but we will defanetly have one. I can't wait to start. :D
