I backed into myself just last May. Been years since I backed a trailer, and got too much in a hurry to let the idiots speed past on a 25mph street...

Flexed the curb side tongue bar against the step bumper of my S-10 whilst still using the step bumper ball. I now have a real 2" hitch and I am not so "afraid" of backing anymore. I simply put traffic cones ahead of time in half of the street before backing (also, my street is one-way AND inside of a school zone!)

Had one deputy sheriff (a rookie with an attitude) try to give me some grief about the cones, but then a Rice Racer came screaming up the street at 50 mph in a 25, and said rookie deputy changed his attitude.

He now sits down in the school yard of a summer evening, getting at least ten tickets a night for averages of 25 or MORE above the 25 limit. Ironically, a teacher at that elementary school got caught doing 60 the other day...

'Fession time over for now...

My trailer caused an accident at a stoplight, a lady was looking at it an ran into the back of a truck that was next to us…

Many miles and many tears. Times were hard but now they're changing.
You should know that I'm not afraid.

Almost lost one of the fenders going to the North South rally. Two of the three bolts broke and when I looked out the window it was wobbling like crazy.

Had to pull over and finally yank the final bolt off. It was scary doing this on the Interstate with everything roaring by at 80 miles per hour. Luckily it was on the passenger side.
