Help with my new striping design choices

Postby cracker39 » Thu Jul 06, 2006 2:07 pm

I've come up with a new striping design that is easier to apply than my original one. I have 5 variations with subtle differences, so look closely at them all please. Please view them and vote for one of the 6, either the original or one of the new ones.

It it isn't in the poll, the pics are at Striping Pics,

I stayed with my same color scheme, but that doesn't mean that I can't or won't change the striping colors. I thought about silver also for the stripes.

Thanks
Dale

They all look good to me. Why do you need anyone else's opinion on something which is obviously your choice? Choose one that makes you happy and go for it. You did that when you designed your trailer and it looks great!

The tension between what is good enough and what is beyond that creates the space for character to become our work.

Dale I voted for "D", but I would like to see the rear swoop ran straight back to the rear rather than swooping up in the rear,,then ya could run the same design across the rear of the trailer??,,heck its just my opinion,,,
but you asked fer it,,,,

Dale,

I voted for "E". But then I read Chris' post and decided to take a closer look at your original art. I like the original best. Cancel my vote  Unlike Chris, I don't think you should have any say in what the graphics look like on your trailer. :D

Dale, stick with the original. Also with the original, you can follow through on the front and back with something. And it's just enought different that it won't look like every other RV that is stripped by the owner. Run the front straight across and then in back maybe dip the lines to the center.

Just my thoughts. Have a good day.

I vote for paisley...since you asked :D ;) ...if that just doesn't grab you, then the original, with the stripe brought around front and back....

I suppose I'm not really surprised that the original is leading so far. I do like it best, but it will be more work to put on. As for paisly, I don't think so.

Jack, I had already planned to extend the stipes completely around as in the graphic below.

I'd originally planned a more elaborate front/back striping with both colors, but that makes it even more work, so this one would be it. My only concern with the color scheme is that someone may think I'm delivering the mail, or selling Pepsi.

I'm getting disgusted with ballots. Election years I want a box marked "none of the above" 'cause there aren't a lot of good choices. On this striping thing, "Any of the above" because they're ALL good choices.

I liked "D"..but that is only a simple matter of opinion..I just liked the similarity to trhe eagle wings..always ready to "take off"...

I didn't go the striping route with my TD...I went more for the "humorus" route..including a slight jab at myself as an avid hunter.

...Check my album..

I am in process of building another one now, and will go with a slightly more serious outdoors/wildlife silhouette

My #2 grandson is the artist for the first one and will probably do the one I am presently building..
