I see a lot of shots of camp sites with an easy up canopy over the teardrop. Where do you guys store it while travelling?

Most people carry it in their tow vehicle, or on the bed.

Our tear is unique in that we have storage drawers for holding stuff like the shade.

The frame for mine barely fit in the back of my Subaru Forester, but now that the Suby has been replaced by an F-150, there's lots of room in the bed of the truck.

I take the canopy only when I know I'll need it for shade, and don't count on it for rain protection (the sides are too open and it covers too little of the teardrop). For rain protection, I use a 12' X 16' tarp that I support on the galley hatch at the trailer end, and a couple of tent poles at the other end. Much better protection from rain and wind and much roomier.
