Skinning in copper sheet

Postby rmblefsh » Mon Nov 10, 2014 10:30 am

Has anyone ever skinned a TD in copper sheet? What would be the downfall in doing this?

I saw a 1920s car in a New Zealand motor museum years ago that was completely covered with copper sheathing.

Yeah, it is patina, sought after by many. However to me it might make a TD look more like a rat rod. ;)

Very unique !

Going to the expense of copper would be wasted if one did not take the step of constructing a theme higher than an all too common "Handymans Trip to the Hardware Store" or "RV Supply"

I can envision Steampunk or Moonshine Still theme of its construction.

Just think, All soldered joints too !
