interstate rv metals now carries a .025 mill finish aluminum.
Comes in 48" (any length) and 100" (any length).

Unfortunately they are a wholesaler, so I'm tying to find a local company that carries their products.

I have to wonder if that thin would flap around in the wind while you're heading down the road. I wanted .04 but could only find .05 around the Pittsburgh area. Might be heavy but I've never seen it move in either heat or cold.

Any luck on finding a retailer?

My all aluminum trailer is built from 0.050" aluminum over angle iron frame, and it's plenty sturdy and does not "oil can." If you are just skinning a wood trailer the 0.025" should be fine. If you're skinning, don't glue it to the underlying wood. Attach it at the edges with the trim only.

Marc,
Did you end up using the .025? There's a place around here that has it for a reasonable price compared to the .050 in 5' that I need.
