Fixing canvas?

Has anyone had a bubble of air in the canvas where the glue did not take? If so I would love to know how you fixed it. I have contemplated using a large needle to inject glue, or just cutting a slit in the canvas and pouring some glue in. Let me know what you all think.

Its done to fix vinyl wallcoverings, inject glue with a needle.
No reason it would not work with canvas.

What type of glue and is there anything on the canvas yet? Normal PVA glues re-plasticize with heat. I've veneered by putting white or yellow PVA on both mating surfaces, letting it dry, then using an iron to adhere the veneer to the substrate. If you have paint or something else on the canvas already, I'd probably not try this. Also I don't know how well it works on other glues such as type-II PVAs like Titebond III.

But.... I also buy 21 ga. 3cc diabetic syringes at my local pharmacy for 25 cents each for glue injectors. Would be a lot neater to use this than cutting a slit.

Yes there is paint on the canvas. I stopped by tractor supply and picked up a horse syringe for a couple bucks. Will try it out tonight. Thanks for the help!
