Anyone used Upol Raptor truck bed liner as an exterior coating on a wooden skin?

Seems CPES should be used first, opinions or experiences welcomed....

No but I used Monstaliner rolled on over epoxy and fiberglass cloth. It has worked great and is flexible, durable, used by the Jeep comunity, easy to power wash, has no rubber crumbles in it and and can be waxed. You can read comparisons here http://www.monstaliner.com/monstaliner_comparisons.htm

How well would stickers stick to it? I might consider it if I can apply vinyl stickers on it. Also, does it hide irregularities in the substrate?

This teardrop was done in bed liner and I didn't see any aging of it over the years that the builder owned it.

Can this coating be painted over an oil based primer/sealer? Or Bare wood? I have already sanded and primed most of the trailer and was planning on painting it with regular house paint. But I'm reconsidering this. I really don't want to sand the whole trailer to bare wood if I don't have to.

Update: 11/19/16, This is what I used to seal my trailed, Dupli-Color Bed Armor, DIY truck bed liner. Just slop it on and everything's sealed. :D

bed liner is heavy and expensive, if you want something super durable, but much less expensive, check out the PMF idea.
Mine is 5 years old, and lives outside, it is showing no wear, cracking or looseness, has never been repainted, and uses regular old exterior paint

Ok I get "PMF" is "poor man's fiberglass" but what exactly is it? I asked about fiberglass back when I started and everyone told me don't use It because it will eventually crack. So what did you use. Just in case I ever build again?

Paint filled cloth, the full description can be found in my signature links. Under my Instructables.com link
The fabric and paint become a composite much like fiberglass and epoxy resin do.
Much cheaper and less toxic.

This is a good read on how well "PMF" works. http://tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=67489

Back in the early 2000's people thought it was a good idea to use bedliner on the exterior of their jeep and it weighed them down big time. plus dust gets down in the little crevices and its impossible to get out, giving it a dull appearance.

Monstaliner is the only one I know of that I would call suitable for this. It's textured but smooth, not grabby or rough. It's on the right in the image.

Heavy? A typical double coat is ~0.13 lb/sq ft. I don't think that's a lot at all, considering the durable layer you are adding. Maybe it would make a decent exterior for a PMF Foamie?

How many gallons did you need?

I bought a two gallon kit. Thinned it about 10% and rolled on 2 coats.
