1"+ galley edge trim/molding

Postby MTalon » Fri Apr 29, 2016 2:48 pm

I can't seem to locate and galley edge trim that is over 1". My galley walls are just over 1" and I don't want to have a strange looking gap. I know Li'l Bear used to sell them but nobody else seems to. The HT10 from teardroptrailerparts MIGHT work but it has those ribs on it that I don't particularly like and the HT09 are too narrow.

Would regular aluminum stock (e.g. bar, angle, various extrusions) work well enough?

Maybe, but that trim has to be able to bend around a pretty tight radius as well as hold the side aluminum in place.

I don't have an answer for you as I am facing the same problem. I have thought about overlapping trim from both inside and outside. I am thinking I my just use plywood and epoxy it to create a water tight edge for my walls. I will be subscribing to see what you come up with.
