So thinking

Plywood then fiberglass then fiberglass primer then topside paint.

Looks like will be a nice finish with proper prep etc. UV protectant as well. thoughts?

If you look at the build with the link in my signature. That is what I did. Fiberglass, high build boat primer and topside paint.

The only issues I had was that topside paint needed waxed about once a month . If you didn't the paint would go dull and fade.

Looks good. You did pick a tough color too. I chose battleship grey. will spray on and seems to be a lot of online reviews for people using on their boats and all very happy. plus the price. I mean 6 quarts for 50 bucks. TY amazon and their mistake

I brushed on. It flowed real nice. I used about 1.5 quarts for everything I painted. I could have sprayed. I didn't want to deal with all the covering the inside of the garage to do that.

Read the can if you go to roll it on. The stuff I used said 1/4" nap on rollers. Going local I couldn't find one that short on the nap. I used 3/8" nap worked good. Did have lint problems on the first wall.

Did not have to do a second top coat. One coat was enough. I did sand the high build primer. Used 200 grit on it. That was the highest count paper I had for a 6" D/A.
