Stupid Question of the day...

I have skinned my TD with Filon.
There is a thin plastic scratch guard film over the Filon.
The last foot of the film refuses to peel off. I guess it is old and scuffed and stuck like packing tape.
Is there a trick to removing it? I tried heating it with a hair dryer, but no luck.

I have never worked with filon, but brake cleaner is my go to film ans sticker removal fluid...no residue. You might try it on a scrap to make sure it won't hurt the filon
