2001 Chevy Express 3500 15-passenger. I know, a little overkill; but that's what we've got.

One of these 2, a 2007 Chevy 4wd or a 2000 Ford F-250 diesel.

I just got this a few months ago. April will be my first test towing my Teardrop. I expect it to do fine. Mileage will be another thing.

 Yep! My 4Runner is a design from a time when gas was cheap... It has no better mileage than my 2008 GMC full sized extended cab pickup. When a small hybrid pickup shows up on the market, I'll be looking at it closely as a tow vehicle for a TD or TTT and for general farm errand running.

Ah! I LOVE the white rube...

I am so close to getting that myself. I am trading in the ole FJ soon on a new one. (for value reasons) I want the new all white FJ without the useless luggage rack on top. But man, I have been giving a LOT of thought about that all white Jeep too. The FJ tows the little guy like a dream. I usually forget it's back there and look in the rear view and say CRAP, what's that so close! Oh yea...

I pulled my trailer last year with a 2010 Cobalt and got 23.5 mpg over a 1000 mile round trip.I was kinda at the mercy of gravity on any incline so I've been searching for a truck for this year.Looking forward to being able to load the four wheeler or motorcycle in the back of the truck and hooking onto the tear and going riding.

In reality, hes a average DIY'er with a 18x16ft Wooden shed

We will be towing with our 1946 Studebaker M series PU (Avatar picture)
But hope to tow behind Sandi's 1961 Studebaker Hawk when the car is finished.
Teardrops and Street Rods go hand in hand.
I don't know which one gets the most attention.........but we will find out when we get "Miss Piggy" hooked on behind???

I had a Ford Explorer Sport Trac to tow my first 4 x 8 TTT / kayak and bike carrier, and a KIA Sportage to tow my 47 KIT.

I traded both of them for a 2012 Jeep Liberty w/ factory tow package to tow my current Log Cabin build.

I have a VW Thing out in the barn I'll probably tow the KIT with eventually - the VW's not running and the KIT's not finished so that will be my project for next winter.

Hope to have the Log Cabin campable in a couple more weeks and doc says I can hit the road again.

The Liberty gets 20-22 mpg highway which was comparable to my Sport Trac and it avergaged 17-18 pulling my heavy work trailer so expect about the same with the Liberty and Log Cabin.

Sorry about the pic quality - had the Liberty for 4 months and never photographed before. This was in the carport after dark.
