Thanks

He is still hanging in there. He is looking better than he did a week ago, Better, not good. I was up to see him yesterday will probably go tomorrow. He has written out his funeral planes and is getting some business lose ends finished.

We are with you on this Randy. :worship:

Life is tough sometimes. :NC

I'm going to Mecca now to burn the 275 and work on the 228E. I will be thinking of your dad and you.

Peace.

I am going to Boise tomorrow to see him. ( 165 miles one way ). The Advanced care hospital is rolling him out to the side walk Feb 1st so we will probably get him in a care facility in Kimberly Idaho. About 50 miles away. While not a hospital a lot closer to most of us. Of course we will have to pay for the ambulance to get him to Kimberly. Insurance will only pay ambulance one way. Don't you just love insurance?

If I have time tomorrow am going to a hardwood lumber yard that some people told me about while I was in the Woodcraft store looking at their very expensive firewood.

Tonight I am going to start sorting out the titles to his vehicles and see which ones we still have to get transferred. Or just plain get a title. he has almost 65 antique, vintage, special interest cars/pickups/trucks. Plus about 6 tractors.

Randy.

That's cool, the 65 cars that is. I'd love to hear more about the collection.

I didn't get the 228E running yet, but I did light up the 275.

Sweet. Barrett Jackson here you come.

Just make sure that (if you don't already) you know what they are really worth in today's market. You may be surprised that they could be worth more than you think (or maybe not). Might be worth having an appraisal, if you don't know for sure.

I still regret selling my '67 Chevelle, and probably let it go for far less than it was worth.

Randy, Those cars are right up my uncles alley. He has built a few of just about everything. He has a shop up in Troy, MT. If anything needs any kind of work He could do it. Might also be able to help find buyers if you get to a point where the collection needs to be reduced. Hope your Dad's condition improves.

Cool Bill

Dad is looking a bit better, not good, just better. He was able to walk a bit yesterday, first time in more than 3 weeks.

Thanks Kirk. Dad is home now under hospice care. His mind has slipped a lot the past 2 weeks or so but he does seem to be able to go a bit in his walker. At least on most days.

“The greatest healing therapy is friendship and love.”
-Hubert H. Humphrey

Spend the time that you have with him, and try to share all of the good memories that you have together. It is something that I did not do nearly enough with my father in later years.

I try to but I am broke and need to work, and my boss needs to get his stuff done and I am avoiding the witch that is his wife.

PS. You should here her kids talk about her.
