My new reading lamp...

I have been looking for a reading light for my "man cave" for a while. I could not find anything I liked so I decided to make one. I got this lamp fount from a friend last weekend. The fount was full of rust and had 3 pin hole in the bottom. Also the there was a bunch of solder around the filler bung. I was able to get most of the solder off around the the bung and re-painted it and made it into my reading lamp.

Hey Jeremy, that looks great. I have a few of those in bad shape. Never thought of wiring them. Good idea!

Nice re-purpose. Better than tossing it. Looks like it might be an Akron.
