Our local hamlet has no mercy about the water bill due 15th shut of 25th. Well I dropped of the bill on the 25th and arrived home to find the water already off and padalocked. It was fortunate (or unfortunate) they had a town meeting that evening. I went off on the water witch and threw in a few unkind words about her character and found myself escorted out by the town marshall.

The point I am trying to make is I was mad as hell and they wanted a $20.00 reconnect fee. So I set up my ozark shower tent in the side yard in protest for the world to see. I hauled their water from the town park in a 55 gallon drum. Set up my therford porta potty and a very long section of black hose as my hot water heater powered by a small electric water pump.
So the little tent served probably 15 years of camping use during that 6 weeks. I finally had to relent and pay the reconnect fee but I saved 2 months of water bills at 65+ each. The little tent served me well and was spacious enough for a fat man to get a great shower an was at the ready in those moments of need , when nature calls.

I am not an ozark trail fan as much of their wares are a bit cheesey and the quality is a bit of a crap shoot but these little shower tents with all the little extras are well built and well thought out.
Growing older but not up !

Sorry about your troubles with the government water troll, but loved the story (and the good plug for the tent).

Brian, ours is the outback brand, which doesn't seem to available right nor. It is exactly lime the red one, except color. We will have it at the dam.

I couldn't resist posting this one. It might be a little off the mark but you could use it with a zodi shower and know nobody was sneaking up for a "peek". It would be funny, using it with a porta-potti, though....

Also, it's a clever "strip tease" video!

(My humor-meter is a little "off" today...may need some calibration.)
