The wheel arches were quite fun to make. I changed the design slightly so I was using 200 400 and 600mm radius circles.
The cut sequence took a bit of working out and it's come out well.

RGB LED wiring and adding LEDs to traditional tail lights.

Converting VW bug tail lights to LED. It's pretty simple if you can work a soldering iron. (Pronounced "sole-der" here and "sodder" there. Both correct )
I started off using just RED and worked out it would be better to use white LED as it is much brighter. I'll re-do the teardrop shaped red lights I did yesterday to change to White.

In the video I did no show how to do this, just solder over all the RGB connectors so power goes to them all. I'll add a note on youtube as well..

These drawers are originally from an office under desk set of drawers. They were destined for the skip (dumpster) and all I wanted was the drawer runners.
On the right hand side of the galley I have a camp stove, with randomly determined by the board it sits on. The center of the galley has the cooler box drawer, again sized by the cooler boxes. The drawers fitted in the remaining gap and needed a 1/4" packer. Just luck.



The drawers and the metal runners were too long so I risked cutting them down. It worked. In the video I did not raise the blade so cut into the drawer bottom. I did it correctly for the first two drawers and messed it up when I did the video.
The first two drawers I glued and clamped with a ratchet strap and only thought about pinning it when I did the video.

The video does not show how lining up the drawer runners (sliders) can be incredibly frustrating. A tiny difference in height makes the drawers look awful with the gap between the drawers highlighting the problem. Making those gaps even is a challenge.

I ran out of time this morning to fit them into position.

Managed to put up the cupboard in the cabin this morning. I needed to trim the edges because I'd cut it the exact width and the door needed a small gap between the door edge and the wall.
I know using a plane on the end grain splinters the wood, so what did I use, an electric plane.... Only after I splintered the wood did I use the circular saw....I'll be able to fill and sand but it's extra work I could do without.

I've made some supports for the electric sockets, as the walls are not thick enough to allow the sockets to recessed into them.
Broke a cheap router bit, so multiple passes is a good idea rather than one deep cut

I've got to find another way of getting to my camera, a little humour at the end of the video, lots of puffing and panting....

I've been away so not much has happened on the TD

However I've added the hinge and after a night's sleep I've worked out that I've cocked up. the hinge needed to be longer and rebate the lower section rather than leave myself with a fiddly little gap... Ah well it's another £25 but not a complete waste as I can use this hinge on the doors.
