There once was a man of yore
While cooking had quite a chore
The stove it was grand
Whatever the brand.
And his food was never a bore.

I'll get some pics of the 3 burner cast iron grated ones, non Colemans...they are especially high wide and handsome. Doug

Here's the highest of them all, and there is still 2" of extension on the legs. 1934 Model 57 KampKook. Behold it's glory!

All of my stuff gets cooked on....not regularly however. Much of it is just "special occasion" type uses. No point in gunking up a nice stove to prove it works by cooking some bacon. I've got plenty of users for that. I also have plenty of "museum queens". If you put as much time/ effort and money into paint as I do...I doubt you'd cook on them either and parts aren't readily available if something goes really wrong.

1949 Coleman 426 no letter. This stove was restored, and now is my main cooking stove. It has 50+ days of camping on it in the last 2 years.

You're so right, Randy! He IS! so high. So wide! and so very handsome... Image

Dang. I hadn't seen the latest CampKook; that dark green 3-burner. She's another beaut!

Here're three of my three-burner stoves. The second 426; the one that's closed w/ the three Speedmaster 500s on top, needs some work.

So, on that note, here are three different three-burner Coleman!

It was pictures like this (*cough* Doug's *cough cough*) that got me goin' on the choice to use "[water-] white gas" instead of propane for my camp appliances... which, naturally, started my Coleman lanterns and stoves collection. Lighting for these two pics is from three 228D lanterns; two of which are hanging in the canopy. I should've had another one, a fourth, out by the camera. Pics are a bit dark.
