Looking for photo of sportz tent behind teardrop

Other than George T, has anyone set up a sportz tent behind their teardrop. Got any photos you can share?

The 10x10 foot size is massive. I use it as a side tent right now. Think it may be too big for most to have. That is why I am looking for more information on this thread. For a more compact tent. http://tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?t=8300

I have a EZ-uP for the Galley area as heat and smoke can be an issue. Some suggest that this is a better way as smoke and stuff won't be inside the tent.

As for me, I'm going with the PahaQue Screen house. It has awnings on all four sides the can be left down for privacy. http://www.pahaque.com/products-screenroom.shtml

Pahaque has the over the picnic bench approach with galley and that apears to be a very good choice.

Again I think the sportz tent is great for the side tent in the summer, if you want to have a big room on the side of your Teardrop but for cooking it might be a little much.(Too Warm) Cool weather would be fine. The height is great though and you feel like your in a living room with the sock door to the teardrop as a bedroom entrance. BTW The Sportz tent has two doors and the sock door for 3 openings. For cooking I feel that a more open or screened in approach might be better as the Pahaque or the EZ-uP gives gives you the 10x10 or 12x12 and for eating and group interaction that platform may be better for you as the Sportz tent is more private and closed in. Just my opinion.

The Sportz tents have pretty big windows (at least mine does). If you don't use the rain fly, then the top will be open as well.

Hi Mike,

Actually it is good to cook inside in the winter. The stove heat warms the inside up quite nicely. A small ceramic heater warms it nicely too,and becomes our living room in temperatures below 50 degrees.Never used mine in the summer. We use a pop up shade with screen,or panel sides if it gets cooler,or rains for summer use.

Here is the EZ-Up and Paha Que screen house set up in by back yard.



I happened to be painting my propane tank and tank mounts at the time. One of the nice features of the Paha Que screen house is the built-in awnings on all 4 sides that can be left down for privacy.

We leave for Myrtle Beach, our first trip of the year, a week from today. I'll let you know how they work for us.

Tom, how was it setting it up? Also, what size did you get?

It looks a little pricey, since you have to buy the rainfly separately, but it looks like it handles a lot of functions.

Can I have an invite too? I got a Sportz tent from Santa last December, but the atmospheric conditions have not been conducive to setting up a tent. I was planning to do it this weekend, but was just notified the concrete work will be done and I need to move my TD.
Let me edit that: I can set it up, but then I would be folding it wet & I don't want to do that until I have had a chance to play in it.
