New Franken-Lantern project fired up.

Lanterns, stoves, etc... anything old!

New Franken-Lantern project fired up.

One 220F
Image
Dismantled the valve stem and removed the F/A tube.
Screwed the valve stem back in with some thread sealer and cut the top off with a Dremel cut off disc.
Image
And drilled and tapped it to accept the 200A valve stem.
I didn't want to mill the bung down to match the height 200A's bung's. I don't want to compromise the strength of the bushing so I may need to make a new frame rest (Collar)

To be continued as it progresses along.

 While cleaning my walk in attic this week I found a box of lanterns and parts that I forgot I had. I'm thinking that I have enough junk lanterns to try making myself a "Frankie".

Looks great Eric. 8)

Did the collar height work out with the finished valve installed, or did you have to adjust it?
