It's been busy at work, cold and damp so I've not really had much time to do anything.
However things have changed and after putting on three coats of floor paint,
http://www.screwfix.com/p/no-nonsense-floor-paint-red-2-5ltr/92857I've painted another three coats of "Pillar Box red" sandtex exterior gloss paint that is guaranteed for 10 years
http://tinyurl.com/m4utt3dThe tongue box is painted black with the sandtex exteriour charcoal black and looks fantastic after just one coat. The ladybird dots are going to be painted on using the same sandtex black.
The results are shown below.
Floor paint on the left, Gloss on the right.
Galley hatch painted
The interior has also had three coats of red floor paint, and is now getting three coats of White "kitchen and bathroom" paint and is looking rather bright!
All I now need to do is:
- fix the tongue box to the body
- Fit the number/licence plate mount
- Fit the wheel arches/fenders to the body
- sort the tail light wiring
- Install external lights - enroute from ebay (see photo below they are daylight running lights)
- install a ceiling into the galley
- install lifts into the galley
- Install door/galley seals, I've bought some and they're ready to be stuck on Plain Expanded Neoprene - Strip
http://www.sealsdirect.co.uk/shopping.asp?intDepartmentId=4#15- buy and install a mattress
I suppose another month or so depending on how much time I can spend in the garage.
