4 Million BC Pinball for Mancave

Postby robfisher » Sun Mar 31, 2013 11:40 pm

I finally got my own room in the house. All the kids are gone. I'm looking for a 4 Million BC pinball machine built early 70's There's a spot in my cave just waiting. Does anyone know of one for sale?

OR does anyone know of another electro-mechanical pinball machine with some of the same elements? It was one of the first multiple ball machines.

I don't know where one is myself, but if people know what you're looking for it might be possible to find one. :worship:

As with anything, condition is everything ... I have no idea what a playable machine would be worth. The features of this game later became quite commonplace. It would just be a matter of finding one that you like.

I have an old pinball machine that needs wiring work and probably some coils replaced. It worked when I first got it but something burned out. The score board needs to be de-gunked and lubed. I replaced all the bulbs and rubberbands on the board. I have the wiring diagram for it. I also have new balls in it. I wish I had the time to go through it and maki it right. I suspect the main problem is where it was modified to make it free play. It is called "Cocqutte". The scoreboard glass is cracked, but all there. If you didn't mind it being a project, we could work something out. I also have a couple of video game cabinets (guts still in them) that I had hoped to turn into MAME machines. I probably should put them up on CL or something. My priorities are changing and they are taking up space.

Just un update and a thankyou. I have not found a 4 Million BC pinball machine and am still looking for one. But on a happier note Wagondude has sold me a nice machine and Terry has volunteered to bring it out to the Dam gathering where I can pick it up and cart it home. Teardrop people are the greatest. I'd like to thank Grant Whipp for introducing me to Terry. Thank you, Terry for going way out of your way to fetch the machine, and thank you, Bill for selling me your baby. Thank you everybody.

Did I say teardrop people are the greatest? They just are!

You are most welcome, Rob. I was at an antique mall today and laid my eyes on a slot machine.

Robb and Wagondude

Here's a source for repair parts for some pinball machines http://na.suzohapp.com/

There used to be a large supplier called Wico, but they seem to be out of business these days.

I worked in the pinball industry many years ago.

Arrived in perfect shape. Great packing job! Thanks. Started cleaning her up a bit today. Will be a long process to get all the contacts clean. This summer is going to be so busy it may be November before she runs again but we'll see. I'll show her great love and attention.

Re: 4 Million BC Pinball for Mancave LOCATED!

A 4 Million BC Pinball machine was just discovered in a warehouse in Chicago. Only took three years of searching and it's now found a new home. I'm so excited.

Yes, Gage, I'm the new owner. The game is in amazing condition. It's getting a quick tune up and will be ready to play in a few days. It all works. All it needs is a good cleaning and lubrication.
