Postby bdosborn » Tue Sep 18, 2007 9:04 pm

I stumbled across a great battery FAQ:

WHAT DO I LOOK FOR IN BUYING A NEW BATTERY?

Thanks Bruce

I have talked to them a while back , they only use a charger running off of their generator or shore power with the 500 AH batteries.
I also talked to their Chinese factory Battery Dr Yao? rep in Jan in Quartside - that guy was not the sharpest knife on his product vs. flooded batteries. He had no knowledge of a solar CC for his Batteries.
I talked with Midnight solar and they said their CC 150 can be programed to work with Lithium Batteries set at 14.4 volts
Just got 2 of your flex Renogy 100 watts panels....now only $199 - from them direct. The 2/5 warranty is a little worrisome.
gotta bump it up to 3200 - as a guy now has 3130 on a 24' trailer.

have new Idea for OTTCT 3.0 but will most likely not post about it...
as it seams to go way above the heads of the main crown here.

Im going for 100% full solar power, 365 days / year to provide heating down to ZERO F - and cooling up to 118F
Pretty sure it can be done, with what I have see on OTTCT 2.0 now
