Well, that was weird.

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Well, that was weird.

The phone rang today and before I picked it up, I checked the caller ID.

It was ME!!! The screen was displaying my name and number. How does that happen? (no answer to my hello)

I have had that happen. "I" am in my address book with five different phone numbers. One is the cell phone, one is the home phone, one is the office work phone, another the office cell phone, one is another property I own. If someone calls from any of those phones... Then my cell phone caller ID says that I am calling myself!

It gets really confusing when I forward calls from all the other phones to my personal cell phone. People call, hear road noise and ask, I called your office number, how are you on the road?

I've seen this before .
Whatever you do don't answer it.
It is your alter existence coming through time .
Due to a dilation opening a portal in time if you hear your own voice from another timeline it will suck you in and you will be no more !

I've had that happen a couple of times. My caller ID shows it's me calling me. Both times the other me never left a message. If me doesn't leave a message, I'm not talking to me.

I'm old school so the landline is my only phone. I may have to drop that.

OK, if you call on my land line leave a message. I don't hear the ring, I cut them off. Don't have caller ID. and if you are family or friends call my cell phone. Last week someone called my land line 6 times in a row, the answer machine caught it all three times only once leaving her phone number, I decided to call her back I called 6 times every time hanging up just as she answered. She called me an hour later saying that when I called her back the phone would c ut off just when she started to speak. the reason she called was a sales call, when she called me again when the machine picked up i said in a machine -Operator voice. The person you are calling is on restriction, the phone is for calling out for emergency only, the person cannot afford to pay for a straight phone line. If this is an emergency please dial 911.

I think I will use that more often She has not tried to call back.

We just had that also, right now they are setting new poles down the street. I believe they are running new wires or lengthening the ones there, the call is a test by the phone co. To make sure connections are correct.
That or the NSA just set up the nationwide phone tap...
