Zelix does a lot of recipes for 6" DOs, but you have to look through his blog to find them. When you search for it, only one recipe comes up, and there are two others right on the first page.

http://zelixcookingblog.wordpress.com

This thread is about cooking for 2, but it includes links to recipes for the 6" DO.

Have fun searching and experimenting. Remember, the 6" is 1 qt capacity filled to the brim. The 8" is 2 qt. The 10" is 4 qt. So cut a recipe designed for a 4 qt DO down to ¼ the original to make it fit.

We don't have a 6" DO......but do have an 8" Lodge.
Can't imagine cooking anything in a 6". The 8" is small enough!
We only use it for Rice or the occasional small dessert.
We use our 10" when there is only the two of us and we are on the road.

Slow, check out the recipe section for an EZ wrapped chicken breast meal in an 8 inch oven, which you could probably do in your 6 inch oven with coal adjustments. 8)

Yep, there is a recipe for Warm Stuffed Dates wrapped with Proscuitto...great for an appetizer, that would fit as well, Brian.

I followed the links to the recipes and can't wait to try some of them out. Chocoloate + Cobbler are two words I never expected to see together and now I can't wait to make it!

Question. I have always seen the DOs referenced by quart-size.

Is there a list that converts inch-size to volume?

Thanks!
