Thanks again KC, i did a quick excel spreadsheet on it, and it turns out the factory wheels (21.9" diameter) vs say the 27 wheel you quoted is the difference between 55mph and 68mph at the same wheel RPMs.

Makes a pretty decent difference

Then much on the other side, this one took a little longer, I had to go back to the store for more wire. Over 200ft of wireing in here just for my little electronics. I added another run to this wall for a second 2x12v +usb chargers in the galley

Next up is the roof spars, and then I start bending birch...

Really excited to see things comeing together, after how long I felt like I worked on the platform before I saw any real results.

Have you considered a tire/rim to match your tow vehicle? It would eliminate the need for a spare on the TD.

@rebapuck
Yeah I considered it briefly, but it would require me changing out the Hubs on the trailer, and doing something crazy for a spacer for the offset as the TV is a FWD Scion XD.

At this point, I think I'm just keeping the stock wheels, and looking at a replacement in the future. For now I just wanna get out and camp!

Quick update

Got the panels for the interior ceiling measured, cut and glued together.
Got the fan box built and installed.

Got the last roof spar built
Waiting on a friend to come over and give me a hand installing the ceiling panels, as a 10ft long piece of 1/8" wood is kinda hard to maneuver by oneself :)

No new pics, but...

Hole for ceiling vent is cut on inside skin
Glued and sealed up the wall insulation in the galley area, and installed interior wall.
Poplar 1x2 double spar is installed (drilled from the outside with 3.5" deck screws and glued)
Hatch ribs cut (WOW that sucked) 8 from 1/2 plywood. Plan is to glue them together for 4x1" ribs.
Glued hatch ribs.
All the cross members for the hatch cut and drilled (kregg jig)
Sealed down the back of the interior ceiling

Working on getting the hatch built up tonight, and if I have time getting some of the exterior skin on.

More pics later today. Got over my funk at least for now.

Hatch is built
outside is skinned back to the hatch
I need to trim the edges and cut the ceiling fan vent, then skin the hatch.
Then I'm filling seams, and the few small holes from my flubs. Then its sanding/epoxy and fiberglass

getting there
