Another no pictures update

Got the rest of the staples pulled from the inside, maksed things off, and we're ready to paint the inside

Got two thick coats of epoxy on the hatch, going to have to trim the FG and let that cure. Will probably do a quick sanding on it tonight to see if it needs another coat or not

Did a quick rough sand on the trailer last night so we are going to start exterior paint to night. Got a fuse box, main fuse, pull down latches and shore power adapter on order (should be in tomorrow) so once I'm done with paint we should be golden on that.

Wish us luck, we're painting tonight!

Three coats on the outside, everything except for the hatch, painted the inside a nice soft blue (wifes choice)
Doors are going on tonight!

Goign to add some accent colors later, either blue or red 4" bar below the doors, that will angle up at a 45 degree angle to the hatch hinge.

No new pics yet.

Doors are on, rear galley wall/bulkhead is sealed up with a piece of the 1/8th in birch
Put in the rear counter top brace and building a counter top for that now. Paint is inside as well. Painting the hatch this weekend, routing the counter top, and hopefully working on wiring tonight.

Hope to have it out next weekend. A far cry from "done" still, but I'll settle for "serviceable"

So maybe pics tonight

All cabin electrical is now done, ceiling fan is mounted and wired, switches are installed, reading lamps, porch lights, and 12v outlets and USB ports are wired in the cabin.

The fuse box is going to be in the tongue box with the battery, and I haven't done that yet.

Entire cabin is painted (I hadn't done the ceiling as I wanted to varnish it, but he wife was concerned about the VOC content, so paint is is), the galley is rough assembled. We have a varnished counter top that is 1/2" CDX plywood with a piece of the 1/8th inch birch glued to it, trimmed with the router and rounded over. Back wall of the galley is also varnished. No cabinets, or storage bins yet, but those are optional at least for now ;)

Hatch is now painted and ready to attach. Hinge needs to be trimmed yet.

4" memory foam spa sensations mattress from walmart has been ordered.

My todo list to be campable now includes (front of trailer to back)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
peal and stick tile in cabin and galley
Bolt down tongue box
Finish electrical in the tongue box (wire up fuse box, battery terminals and main fuse)
buy a battery
Trim hatch hinge
install hatch hinge and hang hatch
weather seal hatch (weather stripping)
install pull down latches
Install mattress

Mattress is due in Thursday, hoping I can get everything else on the list done before then and MAYBE take the kids on a short shakedown cruise this weekend.

Highly recommend using a flooring adhesive compatible with your peel and stick tiles. I did a new plywood work bench in my non-climate controlled garage one time and as soon as they sat in a hot day several got loose and peeled up. Peeled them up, used adhesive as for non-self adhesive tiles on them and have not had a problem since.

I was looking into that KC, but for the ones I bought people were saying NOT to use any additional adhesive. I guess I'll see how it goes, but I appreciate the input

Still no pics, spending too much time working

Hatch hinge is trimmed, and the top of the hinge is installed (double silicone sealed, one bead under the hinge, one at the top edge)
Tongue box is bolted down
Battery box is bolted down inside tongue box

Peal and stick is tonight, and possibly installing the bottom of the hatch hinge.
Once thats done the fuse box and finish electrical is next.

It was many years ago when I did my peel and stick, so maybe they have improved. :worship:
