I'm planning on putting a dc system in my cargo trailer. I'm going to power a wench, water pump, one overhead dc light that's already been prewired at the factory. And possibly one AC outlet for low power items in the event shore power becomes unavailable. I have 30 amp shore power. I don't need the tow vehicle to charge the battery while in tow.
I would like to have a charger or converter to charge the battery when connected to shore power. Maybe a small solar panel to keep the battery charged when the trailer is not in use. I guess I'll need an inverter to power the AC outlet.
Anything else I need? Suggestions are appreciated. A diagram or picture would be helpful.
