You can use canvas painter's dropcloths that you can find at any big box home improvement store. As far as how to put them on your trailer, do a little browsing here and see what others are doing to choose your method. There are several different ways, and they all have their advantages and disadvantages.

Would I use marine canvas for outside of my camper? I need it to be water resistant since I live in a rainy climate. Portland oregon. Or can I just paint over regular canvas with exterior paint? Ehat oz should I use and they come in 3ft × 5ft sizes? Thanks.

Another vote for Bigduckcanvas. Getting wider canvas to minimise seams is totally worth it.

Get regular canvas: any waterproof coating will make gluing difficult. Exterior house paint waterproofs the canvas and glue.

I found mine for the front and back sides at Walmart. 72" wide, $6 per linear yard. It was white, duck canvas and while I don't remember the actual thread count, it is far smoother than the painters cloth from HF (which I have on the bottom of mine). I washed it and then ran it through the dryer to preshrink. It adhered perfectly and I had absolutely no wrinkles. I did a 90 degree wrap-over of about 3/4" over the cedar strip sides, no bubbles. I adhered it with TB2 to 2.7mm ply, then another coat of TB2 and now 3 coats of exterior semi-gloss.

Oh, and I live in Florida, so we'll match the rain and add in long bouts of high humidity and heat. Use exterior latex, semi-gloss or gloss to aid in cleaning.

So for 2 sides 4ft by 8ft I would need like 4 linest yards? Thanks

I'd suggest 6 yds.

If you are only looking at the sides of a 4x8 and the canvas I mentioned above then you need to consider the following...

If you do not want any overlaps, then it must be full piece for each side. Thus the 72" width becomes the 4' height and you'd need a minimum of 3 yards per side for the length, you might even consider 3.5 yards per side in length due to shrinkage. There will be shrinkage and you'll lose the cut offs, but even at that you are only looking at 7 yards or about $45 for the cloth. If also using for the front/rear/roof, then of course that means more. If 4' high x 8' long, then total length would be 16', or another 6 yards. So all total you are looking at a minimum of 13 yards or about $100. Not to shabby.

Don't forget the inside and possibly the floor.

I originally got a roll of 20 yds. from Big Duck.... I had to patch the interior from the cut-offs.
At the price I paid I should have purchased 30 yds. for a cleaner interior. I used 4 gal of a 5 gal
pail of gripper to paste the canvas on and start to fill the weave on my 4' x 8' build.
