After checking out the Ironton 5X8 on Amazon (499&free shipping) and looking at used 5X8's, I narrowed it down to the Lowes or the TSC unit with mesh floor. No one stocks the no-gate version, so I may be cutting that off. The Lowes trailer had 4.80 X12 tires and open "see-through" fenders. The TSC trailer had 13" wheels and full fenders for the same price. They both are 699 but the TSC lady gave me 20 bucks off. No bolting or welding to do (other than maybe where the tongue sits in the bracket)...and no bolts sticking up on the frame. Got the TSC company trailer today. Seems to tow fine even empty. Hope it works out for my new build, a cargo trailer/mini-camper. Anyone else notice these differences in the two trailers?
