I can go about 3 days without Power in my TD. I have a frig, TV( on inverter), lights etc. I like to boondock, but I also see the TD as part of my emergency preparedness. If the power goes out, I can go three days without power in an emergency.

Something that I don't think has been said yet is that resale value could be more. Also, more people in more areas might be interested if you can use either...if you ever decide to sell.... Heck, you might find that you love it so much that you want to be buried in it. :lol:

Most portable devices have USB charging, I'm planning on USB outlets everywhere.

For those who've already built or bought without USB outlets, there are adapters that fit DC outlets and adapters that fit AC outlets, enabling outlets to do double duty.
