I think that's what they are called. I was looking at putting one on my TD. Can someone point me in the direction as to where to buy the hinges ect...

I bought mine fromhttp://www.rvwholesalers.com/parts/products/table-support-31-1226 RV Wholesalers. They have adjustable table legs too. The hinge is $7.99.

Now would someone kindly direct me to info on making the tables? Types of materials used and what works well along with some photos would be great. I want lightweight and very durable. Has anyone used aluminum or stainless to sheath the top?

My plan for a light weight table top is to build one with 3/4" foam sandwiched between two sheets of 1/4" lauan with a rim of 3/4" boards around the sides. Similar concept to what TD builders do for their walls.

Thank you, sounds like a great plan.
An additional block where the adjustable leg
mounts and it is good to go.
Beats one from solid or 3/4 ply.
Can still be finished out great.
