Stop and and looked at 3 Sheboygan restaurants on Saturday with my two brothers. We ate at one. The 8th Street Ale Haus, the Bull and Holiday's.
We ate at the Bull which is a world class golf course and the food was good. Price was also acceptable and it has an excellent room off the main dining area that would be perfect. They even have a larger room with it's own bar that they would be willing to let us have. On the negative side it took them over 15 minutes to get 4 drinks to our table and they were less than a quarter full. I had Shepard's Pie and Cheri had Beef Stroganoff. Pizza looked real good. The setting is really nice, after all it is a golf course in the Kohler area
Holiday's had about 15 large TV's and a small area that is part of the main room. It is up scale and had a 20s-30s crowd. Fairly noisy.
The 8th Street Ale Haus had lots of different beers and is an up scale brew pub. They also have a perfect small room that they could put us in that is separated from the main room by a glass wall. Wide variety of burgers and pub fair.
All are very clean/new and easy for us to find without following each other. We rejected Holiday's because of the noise and the lack of a true separate room. Between the other two Cheri and I are in agreement. We feel our group will like the 8th Street Brew Haus best.
It is actually only a few blocks from where we ate last year. You get off the interstate at the Hwy 23 exit and drive until you come to the first stop sign (lots of stop lights before) and turn left. It's right there on the first block. I think everyone will enjoy this place.
