Converting Cargo Trailers into TTTs

Built a raised floor for the bathroom. This is one serious hunk a lumber! The thing must weigh 50 lbs.
I traced it onto the floor, removed it and drilled a few holes between the lines. Replaced it and climbed
under the trailer and screwed it into place. The holes are for warm air flow, But I'll see if I use them or not.

Tacked and taped pieces of poster board into place.

Built this handy dandy tool.
Image

Scribed the walls with my handy dandy tool.
Image

Turned the handy dandy tool around and transfered the scribe to a 5/8" sheet I have had kickin around here for years.
Image

Cut it out with the jig saw and Voila (Wah Lah!) Not bad if i do say so myself.
Image

Got out the loud scary router and cut a big hole in the floor. Notice the black diaglal line in the bottom
of the hole? That is the frame I need to dodge as you will see why in the next pic.
Image

Ultimately this tank will go in the hole. Also I still have to cut the drain pipe out the bottom.
The frame is located such that I have to rotate the tank to where the vent tube connection is not
in the best place it could be. But I will make it work.

Nice set up. I like the way it's laid out, but I just don't have that much space. The use of scribes and templates makes for a much cleaner end product. Nice work. The placement of the side Man Door is really working for you. Way to use your noodle. Thanks for the pics.

I finally found some linoleum I liked! A very nice lady at one of our many flooring stores in town
gave me a good size remnant today. I tried to pay her, I really did.
It's not glued but I was happy that I got it scribed, cut, and fit in place. The plan is to glue the linoleum
to the wood with regular linoleum glue. Then rough up the gelcoat where the vinyl overlaps the shower
base and glue it with some good ole solvent based contact cement and silicone the edges.
Anyone have any better ideas or reasons why it wont work?

Iconfabul8, Howdy;

You probably already know this, but, ... don't forget to tell the person filling it
that it is brand new and needs purged. Otherwise you won't get the proper amount in it.

I think that will work. Your shower curtain should be inside that, so it should see very little water anyhow. If you find it cracking or etc.. you could make a threshold that makes the transition and covers the seam. I am working on my shower now and I have to make a threshold on two sides. I'm kinda engineering as I go. :-)

BTW... your work looks great!

I haven't been able to work on the trailer much lately, but I did get my mondo bondo job done! As a body man from way back, I can say "It is truly fit for a gloss black paint job!" Too bad it is going under linoleum. :(

A little painful. I have had to put it on hold for a bit. Apparently, earning a living is suppose to enter into the picture at some point. :( My better half was getting very insistent about this. I still go out and stare at it once in a while. Gotta keep skeeming!

I certainly understand. You'll get back to it soon enough.

It has been 7 long winter months since I have worked on my ctc. But today I installed the ceiling lights. :) :applause:

A little solder and heat shrink and they are ready to screw to the ceiling!
Image

I had to use the 1" barrel sander to notch the sides to fit the trim.

All three lights up!
