I have read through various threads and checked out the balance spreadsheet but just wanted to get some verification. I am planning on building a 5x5x10 Grumman 2 teardrop. The plans have the body of the trailer at 106" but my overall length will be 120". From what I have read and entered into the spreadsheet pretty much the 40/60 rule is the way to go.
My question is since the trailer body is 106" but the teardrop extends to 120" do I calculate any of the 14" difference into the balance of the trailer since that weight will still be there or do I strictly just worry about the trailer body?
For example
106" at 40% is 42.4" to the center of the wheel
120" at 40% is 48" to the center of the wheel
Thanks in advance for any input
