cleaning and maintaining applicances

Postby gene so » Mon Oct 24, 2016 8:57 pm

Hello,
I have bought a used 14 foot camping trailer and am adapting all the appliances to fit my custom teardrop which is nine feet long. While the appliances ( A/C, propane heater, refrigerator, cooktop, sink, tank, pump, and micro) resent a great value for $250.00 and all the other gadgets thart can be used make this bargain, I want to clean and refurbish all these units to make them apear as new as possible.

I am not afraid to disassemble any of these units to get them aesthetically clean and new looking as possible. Is there anyone out there with experience in making these functional items appear as new as possible?

Thank you in advance,

Gene So

Doug Hodder is probably the most accomplished restorer of vintage camper stoves and Coleman products on the forum. There are a few others that have done very nice restorations as well, But look up some of the stuff Doug has done.
