This is one of our favorite camp sites and is easy to get to from the Mid Atlantic area

So all Mid Atlantic TD are invited to join us. PM me for details.

Bill,
Have fun at the park! I live about 15 minutes down the road but will be tied up all weekend or I'd stop by. Dont forget if you have time to shoot down 903 into Jim Thorpe. Some great shopping and really nice places to eat. Also have the train ride going up into the gorge now.

Steve-

Thanks for the info - Jim Thorpe is on the plan.

My wife's family is from WhiteHaven so we will be checking it out.

The white haven diner is great for breakfast. And the powerhouse resteraunt is really nice but a little pricey.
Have fun!
And watch out for the bears,, oh and bring life jackets in case the water doesnt subside.

Yeah thanks - the dinner is great. Always wondered about the PowerHouse.

The bears - that is what the told us at the park - stow all food in your car.......

Every now and then I come out in the morning(5am) to leave for work and one is sitting on the end of the driveway. I'm only 1 mile from the gorge and 5-6 from the park, if you hike. By car it more like 13 miles. I took my wife to the powerhouse for her b-day and we dropped $120 and I only had 2 beers. She didnt even drink. But I did get the tuna steak and she the lobster, but its the only place in the mountains I trust getting my tuna steak rare.
Have fun, I might break away to check your rig out. I'm in the collecting parts/planning stage. My frame is almost done, but its down at work where I have my welding equipment.

Steve -

If you do get a chance we will be in site 232. Come on by. Also any things you would suggest to see or do while there (we will be arriving Saturday afternoon and leaving Monday). Explore Jim Thrope - thought about white water but they are suppose to open the dam this weekend (that gives me 4-5 rapids- a little too much for me)

Thanks
Bill

Bill,
Sorry I missed you. Never got a chance to shoot over. I have a few projects this winter, and maybe next time you go to Hickory Run my teardrop will be done.
Hope you had fun,
Steve
