been using LATEX semi-gloss for several years now on my home built boats

they are holding up well enough to suit me and my lackadaisical attitude where my boats are primarily tools to get me in the water while protecting the wood AND

looking good @ 50 yds from a galloping horse... :)

infinite colour selection to suit personal tastes

i am currently using LATEX on a set of oars, recently finished, w/ hopes the paint will perform as well on them as it has on the boat they were made for

easy application, easy clean-up, way le$$ expen$ive than boat paint, no nasty smell, no solvent issues and looks good
