I fish a little (see profile pic) but have never gotten into hunting. I really like to target shoot though. All my kids have shot my .22 rifle and they'll shoot my new .22 revolver and G19 the next time we go camping. They don't seem to like it as much as I do but danged if I ain't gonna force them to be at least a little comfortable with guns.

I am thinking of buying Sougayilang Rod, does anyone has an experience with it?
https://www.bestadvisor.com/fishing-rods
- Type: Telescope Fishing Rod, Boat Fishing Rod
- Power: Medium Light
- Material: Carbon, Metal
- Suitable for spinning reel
- Easy and portable design:
- A plastic cap for protection of the guide rings on the pole
- A bag for protection of the rod
Seem interesting and the price is good.
What's your opinion about this rod?

Whether you hunt or fish or not, I am a firm believer in knowing the circle of life thru interaction. In other words you should know where your food comes from. My poor wife at 58 asked me what part of a cow was meat. She truly did not understand. "The chicken may squawk when you have breakfast but the pig, he's really invested in it".

I am also interested in hearing about the experiences of others with this telescopic rod. To have one that is always in the truck behind the seat would be nice.
