new bee posting in wrong area sory

having trouble figuring out how to post a new thread, I have a harbor freight 4x8 trailer. I was wondering are most of the teardrop plans actually longer than 8 foot. meaning they are 8 foot at the base but over 8 foot at the longest point where the radius pokes out.

I cut my HF rear end short approx 5" to accommodate for the radius poke out in front. That allowed me to use 4x8 plywood on the floor and walls without having to add extra on
