Hello from Canada

Postby daaaveybaby » Tue Oct 31, 2017 10:46 am

Hi! I'm Dave from Ontario, Canada.

I became interested in teardrops about 12 years ago when I stumbled across an old article online. Started designing my teardrop this fall. Looking to see what others have done.

The plan was to start building components in by basement through the winter, then assemble and finish in the spring.

However, already had a big setback. TSC says they can't get me my trailer and their supplier won't give a possible delivery date; which really bums me out as the trailer was on sale 40% off. <sigh>

No worries though. That just gives me more time to plan.

Hi there northern neighbor, Welcome..

Looks like we the two newest.

Then, TSC should give you what we call a rain check here in the states. Get the trailer when they get it and for the 40% off. Not sure if that works up there.

Good luck on your build. I'll be watching for it.

David

Welcome Dave ! Keep us posted on your build. As you indicate a little extra time devoted to planning is always a good idea. Hope the frame comes soon so you can get started. Lee

Vedette.....You gotta realize, some of those Texans don't get outta state much. To some, "up North" means the Oklahoma border  (OK Texans (including Dave), don't get offended, just have a little chuckle at your own expense - it's good for you)...........jd...........I understand your comment Dave, there ARE a few minor differences in our American cultures, so you really don't know about little things like rain checks - there could be a little different terminology for the same thing (gotta mend some fences quickly here).....
