Posting Pictures

Postby Vedette » Sat Nov 04, 2017 11:17 am

I would love to add photos to my posts as so many of you do.
But, since I got my Mac Air and learned so many new things about posting pictures on other Forums I am on, I have forgotten how to post pictures on the Tnttt.
Remember is used to be a pain in the A**.
But, it must have gotten better by now???
Can anyone help me?
I have some great Teardrop Gathering and Camping pictures I would love to share with you.

Here is a longer response for using an external source or the forum's galley.

Thanks Michael
I went over to the Tear Jerkers Forum and used the methods described in the link you attached.
And yes, I was able to move my pictures (one at a time) from my "Photos" Camping Album to My Gallery on the Forum.
I have done this before.....but what a process! Don't think I will live long enough to transfer pictures at that rate.
THERE MUST BE A BETTER WAY??????http://www.tearjerkers.net/new_forum/gallery/image.php?album_id=1013&image_id=13264
Click on link to see picture Picture.
Learned something used the URL to post this picture.
Still cumbersome.

Brian, what about posting them to an album on Facebook and opening up your photos to the public? Then, you could direct people over to the album by listing the address to that particular album here. I'm not certain; but, I think that might work, as long as the person who wants to look has an account on Facebook and is logged into it. If your pics are publicly open, they would not even have to be "friended".

I use Flickr as hosting service and just hot link to them (use IMG command).... So far Flickr has not scummed to the same disease ($$$$) as Photobucket....

https://www.flickr.com/

As a side note, away keep master copy if all images on "home base" system.... Not sure where I-net is going but Photobucket may be beginning of trend.... Also with Microsoft and their "subscription" service for MS Office.., Seems the can turn off the application after set time period, would also indicate they can reach into your system anytime they want and disable OFFICE at their will..... Also wonder about the "cloud", have fears that I will wake up one morning to discover everything in my cloud has been compromised by a hacker (we know internet security is not really secure) or that the 15 or 20 Gigabyte of free cloud service in now going to cost me $19.99 a month to access it... 4-6 Terabyte USB drives (actually USB powered) are getting pretty cheap today, might consider using it as a personal (physical) cloud...
