Hank, thanks. Got the wires on today and hooked up the propane (used yellow tape ) and it fired right up.

A long story today, but I was shut out of my first two choices for camping and after about 15 miles of dirt roads and places where 4WD is needed for sure, I found a great place in ONF that has been right under the radar all this time. Maybe my new favorite place.. and it has water and a dump station.

I am out in the woods tonight and enjoying the CTC. Headed out in the morning for a ride on the KTM.

Did not unload the bike tonight. Nice to have that option. :-)

Curious...do you have level indicators on there to know when your level? Or do you eye it?

Enjoy your time out. Rig looks nice at night.

Jr9744, yes I have bubble levels for both axis so I can tell if I am level. I always level up.

No, not really. They are just basic bubble indicators. The one on the hitch tongue gets me front to back. I keep a carpenters level to double ckeck and they always agree.

The level on my microwave was placed to be exaclty level side to side with a carpenter's level in the middle of the floor. The graduations on it correspond to inches for leveling blocks. I have these lego style blocks I click together and pull one side of the the trailer up on depending on need.

Pics below. You can get these type just about anywhere. I got mine on Amazon.

Back home. Had a very nice camping trip. Everything in the CTC worked great. The new water heater I installed just before I left worked well as expected. After the first campground was full and the second was closed, by luck, I found another nice camping spot to add to my listr. I'll do this one again. The spots are all for dry camping, but they had water available and a dump station on the way out. Can't beat that!

BTW.. the Blackwater odor problem was solved with the new vent top suggested by Iconfabul8... Thanks! No smell any more. Very thankful that solved the problem.

A few pics of my views:

I had a 10'*20' slab poured in the backyard last week. I am going to put some anchors in it so I can attach cables and tighten down the CTC if another Hurricane targets the area and I cannot evacuate.

I any case, I looks good there and no grass or etc. growing up underneath and etc.. I did have to fell a rather large palm to make room. No more ripping off the ladder with that tree.

On this trip, I did decide that I need to build a better ladder for the loft bed that I can go down on facing forward. The ladder I have is easy to get up in bed with, but getting down is a trick and one of these nights I am going to hurt myself. Additionally, the rungs on the ladder are narrow and focus a lot of pressure on a small area of the foot. It is just one of those things I want to improve and since I have to get up at least once and sometimes twice in the night, it is time do something about it.

I don't have a specific design in mind yet... but I have a few ideas. It will need to be light and possibly fold up to put on the bed for travel. Anybody seen something that may work? forward some ideas. Thanks. No sense in re-inventing if there is already something that will work.

I would probably cut off part of an aluminum step ladder and adapt a top latch for it. Probably cost you about $30 or $40. How high is your bed?

That is a great idea! Thanks. I will look into that.

The bed is about 5.5' high.
