Glad your feeling better. It was 60 here last night so I wheeled the trailer outside so I could blow off the sawdust and sweep up the garage. Of course were under a winter weather advisory this afternoon and it will get down to 15 :x
I weighed the hatch this morning and going to run the strut calcultor and get those ordered up. Think i want to get those set b4 cabinets. Want to maximize the space for the cabinets.

The original fenders were just flat diamond plate bent in an arch with a rubber strip on the edge. I think i am ordering smooth aluminum fenders. I have a good chunk of unused plate from the original trailer that will probably find its way into other projects. Or my off road tdrop im building in my head.

Crazy weather jsn,

Glad you had a heat wave and could move it outside for a time. :)
For the area I live, this winter has been the coldest this year I have seen since the early 80's. Now they're saying by next Tuesday we will be down in the teens..
Feels like someone lassoed us and pulled us up north. :( Had lived in Indiana for a few years. So we know about the winter advisory's..

Today decided to work on the accent lights for under the trailer frame. Linda (my better half loves purple) so I ordered purple. So spent the biggest part of the morning. Cutting wire, splicing, soldering, all the purple lights together.. She'll love it..
Then started on the cabinet lay out drawing.. a lot to figure into a small space...
Stay safe, David

Ran some wiring while waiting for the UPS guy, who decided to not show up till 8pm with my struts. Got my fuse block and switch panel wired in the right cabinet. The light was installed when I built the hatch but got the wiring finished. Really liking it, just routed an edge out of a 1x3 and tucked the LED strip in it. Lights up the galley nice with the hatch open. The struts took 1 relocate as I didnt clearance the cabinets. After moving them they are a tad strong but close nicely, a slight latch adjustment and I should be able to get them to catch unassisted.

I think they were 110, but ill check my amazon. They were perfect when I had them at my initial position but I had to move them back to clear the cabinets. I didnt take in the diameter of the strut itself and it barely hit the cabinet. If you havent seen the strut calculator thread do a search, its perfect. If you cant find it Ill send you the excel.

They still open great and I can let go of the hatch at they are smooth. Even help close once it gets to the bottom.

havent been on in a while and progress was slow because of the stupid winter that wouldnt end. Been able to get some work done in the last couple weeks. Fenders, some more work in the galley, windows set in and door seals done. Mostly wrapping up some odds and ends that I didnt want to do in the cold. Ill upload some more progress photos when I get her back in the garage and cleaned up a bit. Couple weeks till the maiden voyage, Jeep Blitz in Bushnell IL!!!

The galley is just about finished, will be adding a drawer in the center. It will be pretty wide but only making it 10" deep. will be good for utensils. Also going to add bottle holders along the back wall in between the plate holder and the cabinets. Should be able to fit a couple 1/5s on each side.

  Galley looks awesome, love the colors. Very retro looking to me.
Have you considered adding a bottom to the camp stove pullout, (storage for pots or pans etc.), just a thought

There actually is one, its lined with the checkerboard so its hard to spot. After a couple trips we might add another shelf to it, but wanted to see what we needing first. We have a griddle that is the size of the stove that for sure needs a spot.
