Things that don't fit anywhere else...

average tempretures

Postby ae6black » Fri Jan 25, 2019 3:15 pm

I am heading down to Texas to pick up a trailer at the end of April, beginning of May. What would be a ballpark average for temps during the day and then at night that I could be expecting? I was thinking about putting a mattress pad down in the bed of the truck that has a cap on it and sleeping several nights on the way down in some state park campgrounds. I have decent sleeping bags and shouldn't have any trouble staying warm unless it's below 0. I would think it would be warmer than that at this time of year. Since I've never been further south than Ohio at this time of year, I'd be curious what you all that hang your hat in that part of the world would say about what I can expect particularly at night.

Texas is a huge state with very different weather. Maybe tell us where in Texas you are going.

We can have all four seasons in one day.

Seriously though, in the timeframe you're looking at, it could be 40 or 80, so pack a layered wardrobe, and similarly for sleeping.
Holy cow, Rose is a teenager now! Done? Surely you jest. A teardrop is never "done".
