Do you have any pictures of the frame at the axles? Did you remove any floor boards in that area?

I'm curious how much fab work would be required to narrow the axles

Haven’t done any mods to floor or frame, not needed for my application. The floor joists are 24” OC, and I’m installing 21” waste tanks to fit between the joists. This trailer could easily be lifted if needed using lift blocks between the axle mounts and frames, it has standard Dexter torsion axles.

Thanks. I lifted my old featherlite TH on blocks and remember it was a little scary working under a trailer with no axles. Narrowing wont be near as easy.

No need to remove the floor boards but if your under it, take a picture please.

Well its been a while since I posted any additional details but finally getting around to bathroom fixtures. I decided to go with a 21 gallon black tank:

https://www.camperid.com/custom-roto-mo ... 36168.html

I'll be using a Camco Rino 21 gallon portable tote tank for my gray tank, and I will use it to empty the black tank when needed:

https://www.amazon.com/Camco-Portable-A ... B07CQ1WC72

Dometic 310 series toilet is ready for install:

https://www.amazon.com/Dometic-Standard ... 172&sr=1-4

I'm using Uniseals for the 3" connection to the black tank and 1.5" vent pipe, along with a Danco 7" RV flange.

https://www.danco.com/product/7-in-fema ... -homesrvs/

For my shower I installed a 24x27 pan with Hepvo trap,

https://www.amazon.com/ICON-Shower-SP10 ... B007NZVM34

I built up the floor for the pan and Hepvo using 2x4 framing and some left-over 3/4" MDF i used for my counter top, with the shower drain and kitchen sink Hepvo trap plumbed to a central 1.5" drain outlet which will empty into the Camco Rino tank and vent through the V-nose side wall just above and adjacent to the sink.
I'm installing 26" corrugated PVC roof panels for my shower "stall". I went with an open ceiling bathroom arrangement since i didn't want to cut another hole in the roof for a fan, and I'll replace the main trailer roof vent with a Fantastic three speed dual direction vent fan.

Thanks for that. That looks so easy compared to the single block under both axles I built and installed in my back yard, on a hill.

What I find concerning is his AC unit, that looks terrible. Why not on the top of the trailer, front of the hitch area, why not cut in a box and flush mount it. Looks like it’s right there for a large branch to stick right into.

Lift looks easy enough.

Wow! Super nice job on the décor. I really like the kitchen cabinets and backsplash. Great shower too. You have been busy this winter! Excellent progress. You will have a great trailer for riding season. Congratulations. :applause:

I agree with my like minded Dave, the color and layout is perfect

I am needing to figure out how you guys are mounting tanks under the trailers for your grey water, How is the shower plumbed into it. That kind of stuff

Thanks for the compliments. Cabinets and countertops are just primered at the moment . Wife likes the white but I’m leaning towards a pewter or gray for cabinet doors , may do the faux granite on the countertops.

The black tank worked out well, I had to shim it down with some 1x3’s, in order for the gate valve and fernco coupling to clear the 2x4 side frame rail . I used some .25” aluminum bus bars to mount the tank to floor joists with some 3/4” spacers between the joists and bus bars. Worked out well.

It is just about even with the torsion axle tubes and the main frame center beam, or about 4.75” below joists.
The bottom of the sidewall/frame (top of waste outlet coupling) is around 15” above ground .
I may eventually add 2.5” lift blocks at some point. The tank bottom has about a 1” slope from 6” to 7” at the outlet.

Not bad at alll. I have been concerned about messing up the already really good towing characteristics of my trailer by lifting it. But it’s not ruled out for sure
