Converting Cargo Trailers into TTTs

Nice play if you get it delivered for that price. An awning that size, even if it needs work is worth more than the price tag. If it has a 2way or 3 way fridge that works or can be repaired, major score. There will likely be all kinds of lights, fans, exhaust hood, stove, windows, cabinets, stereo, TV, pumps, tanks, plumbing fixtures, power supply and fuse box, racks, ladders, tables, mouldings, switches, etc., etc. The stripped frame converted to a flatbed would be awesome to have if you have proper tow vehicle, but certainly something you could find a buyer for. At that price, I don't see how you can lose. Scrap weight is probably close to that. You may be able to take what you want, then sell the rest for the same price.
Timing is everything. Nice score.

There may also be a rooftop A/C and furnace, shower and toilet, who knows what you may find.

Way to go. You will save that money and then some. I started my build with a donor trailer. It was an old truck camper. I was able to use Holding tanks, windows, water heater, pump, oven, ladder, sink, and just tons of other hardware. You can reuse cabinet doors and all sorts of things if they will work for you.

Something folks don't think of, but heavy gage wire is getting expensive. I even stripped out the wiring and reused alot of that. One other bonus was seeing how much was built. I learned as I deconstructed it.

Awesome find. Good luck.

To say the lesser it looks like a crack head ran through it for wire

Image

I looked in the fridge and it appears clean. All else besides windows are gone. The plumbing is cut with a sawzall, the walls and furnishings are toast. The lift on the front landing gear kinda works, battery is charged enough

The power cord for sore power is there. The rest I will sawzall off into the dump trailer

Those Cargo Doors could come in Handy. Could put one in to have access to under cabinet storage from Outside? If those windows are good, they are worth the price of the trailer.

I figured once I got the windows out of the trailer I would post up anyone who wanted for shipping and plus $20. No stress on my end kinda deal.

On another note Image

I’ll see how long I leave my truck shell off now. It’s been on for years. I love shells so much use in my work, but this should help in other areas too

Just noticed the decal in the truck window. Are you from the Duke City? So was I. Lived in Tijeras, worked in Albq.

I guess your buddy must be a fairly recent transplant. I see #madeinnewmexico and he is still sporting the 505 area code on facebook, google says he is in the north valley, Albuquerque. Looks to be pretty damn handy with that stick. Is that your casa with the new railings, North Ogden? Very Nice. Friends with skills are the kind you like to keep around. Sorry for the confusion about the metalwerke sticker. Just me being nosey. I'm pretty old now.

McDave
Zero problem from me about the sticker, yeah we met at Weber State university and have Been pretty good pals ever since.
He is from New Mexico and probably wouldn’t change it. Super talented fellow. Does online stuff or can make and ship things too. I don’t weld much anymore and it doesn’t make sense to when you have someone as good as him with a tig.

Do you do Facebook McDave?
