I went right to it on Google Earth. It has been called that since I been going out there at least 30 years ago.
I just tried it on Google Maps and it found it. But I would not use the route it preferred. Adds a lot of gravel and a lot more mixing it up with farm harvest traffic. Go east from Minidoka on the pavement about two miles and turn on the Desert Road sign.
I do not know how it got its name but probably something with a sheep herder or cow poke is involved
