Guys looking at this 2250W peak inverter generator, I have a 5000BTU A/C and it would be the only thing plugged into it at night what do you think?

The wen generator has gotten pretty good reviews from those who have bought it in the real world. But I thought it was cheaper than the predator 2k inverter from harbor freight which gets great reviews and goes on sale for 450 every so often. I have heard that the predator does have a lemon out of the box occasionally, like when people try to run them for break in. As in I have heard of 4 or 5 of them.

Edit dont look down the ryobi 2k either

Read the last few pages of this this thread, or all of them. its a great thread on budget inverter generators. Dont click if you anti gun, its a gun centered right leaning website.

Thanks for the heads up, and NO I am not a fraidy-cat that believes an inanimate object is evil and can come to life and start shooting people.

Hey guys I am looking at this Wen 2250 watt https://www.homedepot.com/p/WEN-Super-Q ... 025806-_-N, it would run my A/C (5000 BTU) and possibly a 32" TV if the outside weather is crappy and we are trapped inside, YES this is for boon docking, out at the beach or deep in the woods, and when I say at the beach, here in Texas the beaches are VERY long where we go you cant see another person for miles most times.

Or do you think I need something larger like this one below?

Sure it does. NEC 551, Recreational Vehicles and Recreational Vehicle Parks:

Article 551 defines "recreational vehicle" as a vehicle-type unit used as temporary living quarters for recreational, camping, or travel use. The four basic entities are travel trailer, camping trailer, truck camper, and motor home [551.2].
