Yahoo Photo Albums questions....

Postby David Grason » Fri Nov 19, 2004 11:21 pm

Ok, here's the deal.

I've really enjoyed looking at all the really GREAT teardrops being built in the "Hall of Fame." I've noticed that not everyone has their own website but instead, they have a photo album on Yahoo.com. When I started building my boat, I put my build photos on Yahoo. But it's been a while since I've visited the site and now that I'm working on my teardrop, I wanted to start a new photo album for those build photos as well. But I can't log on. And I KNOW that my ID and password are correct. But it keeps telling me that I have either an invalid ID or an invalid password.

I'll think I'll send Yahoo a strongly worded letter demanding my money back! .........oh, it's free? Well that explains why I can't get in. I guess I'm getting what I paid for.

Seriously, all kidding aside, Ya'll help me with setting up some place where I can post my teardrop build photos.

Thanx

Can I caption them as well?

Thank you for doing that. It really is apreciated.

I'm very early in my build, so there isn't a whole lot to look at yet. Still working on the frame. But I'll email you what I've got. Thanx again.

Send whatever you like, I'll size them and post a link to the page/pages. Not a problem!

There are some free photo places in this thread...

I happen to like freewebs because it's so easy to use... but there's not much bandwidth, as Arne can atest to.

Check out Arne's freeweb page...

If you'd really rather not put together a page, if you'd rather just upload photos and add captions, then yahoo photos is the way to go. If you can't get into your old yahoo album, just start a new one!!!

Yes, I agree. I think starting a new one is the way to go.

You know, I'm not very up on all this computer stuff. I have to admit, I struggle with all the different ways to do things. Other folks just leave me in their dust. So, ya'll bear with me.

Ok, I'm back. I got 11 photos loaded onto Yahoo. Now, how do I fix it so everyone can see them?

Hey David,

That worked perfectly! Are you ready for the hall of fame? No... Okay, I'll let you think about it over night... Let me know by tomorrow morning if you are ready for the hall of fame, and all that comes with it...

I want your autograph, your coffee mug and your 3' poster of your teardrop.

 Mike...

P.S. Okay so I got carried away... I'll put you in the hall of fame in the morning, okay?

P.P.S. Yes, a url is a web address. It stands for Uniform Resource Locator!!!

Hall of fame? Sure, I'd love to be in it. I only hope my tear will measure up. There's some really good stuff in there.

Mike, YOU DA MAN! Thanx one more time.
