This traveling light thing must be catching.

I decided at the last minute to leave the canoe at home. I just don't feel like horseing that think on and off the car by my self. It also kills my gas mileage.

I'm not roughing it too much. I picked up a 7" portable DVD player tonight. I'm camping on my own in PA for a few days after our gathering to use up the last of my vacation time. If I get too bored, I can sit in the tear and watch movies.

I'm leaving work at 2 p.m. I should get there by 8 p.m. or so.

Great pics Steve! Diane and I got home around 2:00 pm after she made me pull over in Otter Creek to buy more chochkie! Wait till you see what she got! You and Phyliss will get a kick out of it.
Had a great time with everyone and wanted to thank you all for the card and gifts, you made our anniversary a great day! Also the food was fantastic! I think I gained 5 pounds over the weekend. Hope more people attend the Fall down next year, it was truly a good time!
Got all excited on the way home on the Thruway when I saw a teardrop ahead of us, sped up to take a look only to find out it was Ray! How did you get ahead of us ? You were still packing up when we left. Do you know a short cut I don't know about?

Glad everyone made it home safely! And for some of you a bit of extra Chockskie to be had on the way back (Diane of course).

Thanks to all! We have such a great group, we definately will be doing this one again!

Think we are hooked on the merits of hauling one of those heavy dutch ovens around... the food was FANTASTIC! Thanks TomS, Steve n Phyllis, Jim and Janna. Thumbs up on the pinapple pork Tom! Diane's 'special brownies' were addictive.

Steve came back to shine on the Waffle frontier. Next year we'll have to bring along some wild blue berries for topping them off!

By the way Diane, we found the Yankee candle shop you were looking for on the way north out of Old Forge.

Kate and I headed back north to Fish Creek and realized it was the annual Adirondack show up in Blue Mountain, so needless to say we were 'delayed' there :)

We had an unbelievable near full redish moon at Fish Creek and amazing mountain / mist views in the morning from site 144 at Fish Creek. The campground was open to site 160 and was almost 80% full on Sunday night!

We have lined up the optimum sites for the Spring TearUp 2007, as well as another group of prime sites for the Spring TearUp 2008. I'll post more on this later.

I only took 425 photos this trip... about 150 at the TearDown and a bunch at Fish Creek... my finger is still raw! Will post them shortly.

Cheers!

I had a great time this past weekend at the Fall Tear Down in the ADKs. Thanks to everyone for preparing such wonderful meals; especially Steve for the waffles, and Tom for introducing me to the DO way of cooking. It was nice to meet our fellow TDers Jim & Janna.

I have some pretty poor photos at the following link. (Some are ok)
http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/rayanddebby/my_photos

There are also most of the Alaska Trip photos there and Pics of Parvin, Spring Tear Up ADK, and N meets S too.

Although Debby couldnt make this one, she can't wait for the next one. She says "hi" to everyone. -Ray

Alittle off subject but. I noticed alot of you at the teardown have Easyup like structures. What brand and what size do you reconmend? Also what ops like screen sides and closed sides? I hope to see you all for the Spring tearup on my vacation to Maine, if all goes well.
Good day every day!
